Missions

Giving back to the community doesn't always require monetary contributions. At Center Church, we believe that donating our time, energy, and knowledge is just as valuable. That's why we are committed to supporting those in need through our mission projects and trips.

Through these initiatives, we aim to help individuals and communities facing the challenges of poverty, as well as those affected by natural disasters. By spreading God's love and light, we strive to bring hope to the darkest corners of our community and the world.

In addition, Center Church proudly sponsors missionaries around the globe to help plant new churches and spread the Gospel. Our mission is to make a positive impact and help those in need, both locally and internationally.

Get Connected, here at Center

At Center Church, we take pride in our rich history of evangelism and church ministries. We remain committed to spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ to our families, neighborhoods, cities, districts, state, nation, and the world. We invite you to join us in this important mission as we strive to make a positive impact on the world.

We believe that spiritual growth is a lifelong journey that is not limited to children and youth. As individuals and as a community, we are always seeking to grow and develop our faith, recognizing that there is always room for improvement. To support this endeavor, we offer a variety of Sunday Schools, Bible Studies, and small groups for adults of all ages. These programs provide valuable support and guidance as we continue our journey of faith.

Our Mission:
We prayerfully seek to glorify God by offering events and activities for our church and community and throughout the world that are biblically focused and address the spiritual needs of women, support missions, and promote fellowship, thereby, encouraging and strengthening each woman’s relationship with Jesus Christ.

Our Vision:
To develop a caring community of women devoted to Christ, through:
• Real Relationships · significant and deepening relationships with one another
• Christ-Centered Focus · spiritual encouragement and growth
• Wide-spread Mission · meeting the needs of each other in all seasons of our lives and of those in our community and around the world.

We encourage all women of the church to join us the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the church fellowship hall for our monthly program.

Men's Group
Men's Group

The men's objective is to promote fellowship among the men of the church. We accomplish this through gatherings and various service projects. Some of these opportunities include fund raising events such as community breakfast, children’s ministry outreach such as “Breakfast with the Easter Bunny”, “Boo Bash”, “Breakfast with Santa”, and sponsoring church clean-up days. We also support the other church ministries as needed. All men of the church are welcome.

Center’s Men meet the first Sunday of each month at 7:30 a.m. in the Christian Fellowship Center (CFC) for a delicious breakfast and devotion. We invite you to join us!

Impact Youth
Impact Youth

The Center Impact Youth organization is aligned with Center Church's mission to receive and spread the love of Jesus. The acronym "Impact" represents our goal of Influencing My Peers As a Christian Teen. Our main objective is to connect with and show love to students in their current situation, encourage them to develop a love for God, live out their faith, and make a positive impact on the world.

Children
Children

Center Church's children’s ministry serves children, Preschool through 5th grade. We are a Christ centered program with deep roots in our community of Welcome and Northern Davidson county. We offer a variety of worship and learning experiences for our little ones in a fun and safe environment. Our volunteers and paid staff are CPR/First Aid and Safe Sanctuary trained. The purpose for our Safe Sanctuary policy and the procedures is to demonstrate our absolute and unwavering commitment to the physical safety and spiritual growth in all of our children and youth in the church. In all of our ministries with children and youth, our congregation is committed to demonstrating the love of Jesus Christ so that each child and youth will be “surrounded by steadfast love, established in the faith and confirmed and strengthened in the way that leads to life eternal”.

We believe that each child is a unique individual loved by God no matter what. Our paid staff and volunteers share God’s love with our kids through teaching them about the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus, and then walking and ministering alongside them as they grow into the person God created them to be. Our hope is that they not only grow to become good people but that each one will mature into an adult disciple of Jesus.

Impact Youth

Middle and High School Focus:

Middle School - As students transition into middle school, life can get complex and challenging. It's crucial to provide them with a safe haven where they can learn about God's perspective regarding themselves. Our primary aim is to establish a community where each student feels valued and included. Although the path through middle school might be rough at times, it doesn't have to be a solitary journey.

High School - High school is a crucial period that passes by in a flash. Despite being preoccupied with the future, Impact aims to assist students in maximizing their current season. Every week, students gather with their peers for fellowship, informative instruction, and small group conversations guided by adult leaders who care about them.

Wednesday and Sunday
6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
In the POD (Place of Discipleship)

Regular Programming Includes:

Sunday School - Preschool, Kindergarten through 3rd grades, and 4th/5th grade classes 10:00-10:45 AM every Sunday between our 9:00 AM and 11:10 AM worship services. Sunday school should be a fun and safe place to learn about God's love for each child and all of the world. We have dedicated teachers who care about sharing the love of God with children and that cultivates an environment of spiritual formation and growth.

Children's Church - Begins every Sunday morning during the traditional service, following the Children's Moment, for Kindergarten-2nd graders. Through music, games, crafts and lessons, the children learn how to praise God and share the love of Jesus.

Monthly Kids' Clubs - Join us for food, fun, fellowship, and Bible lessons! J.A.M. (Jesus And Me) for Kindergarten-2nd graders and J.O.Y. (Jesus, Others, Yourself) for 3rd-5th graders meet every 3rd Sunday from 3:00-5:00 PM.

In addition to regular programming, we also:

⦿ Participate in Children’s Sunday with scripture reading, singing and more
⦿ Present a Christmas play each year
⦿ Participate in Family Events for the whole family such as: Breakfast with the Easter Bunny, Trunks of Treats/Boo Bash, Breakfast with Santa
